Charging Method:

• To avoid overcharge, a timer is used to terminate the charging after 150% capacity input.
• The ambient temperature for 0.1C rate charging is 0°C to 45°C.

Fast charge: 1C x 1.2 hours

• With charging current over 0.5C rate, a joint use of dT or -ΔV cut off is required. For dT control, a maximum allowable temperature rise is 0.8°C/min. Or if -ΔV control is used, the maximum allowable voltage decrease is 5~10mV/cell. However, TCO device with cut off temperature at 45°C to 50°C should be used at the same time.
• Normally, the fully charged capacity under high rate charging is around 110 to 120% to the specified capacity. High rate overcharge without any control will ruin the battery.
• The ambient temperature for 1C rate charging is 10°C to 45°C.
